Don't know what your residency requirement would be for a license, but you probably are going to be on a non resident license the first year. Big Game could be expensive, but you might want to consider going for preference points right away at least if you will hunt big game in the future. Small game and waterfowl is very reasonable for a non resident and you will have all types of hunting within two or three hours of you. I predict Sage Grouse hunting will go away in our lifetime.
