I am sure somebody on here can help me. Where is the launch to the intracoastal to get to Mud Bayou south of Winnie? Area map looks like there might be one at the 124 bridge that crosses the intracoastal. Tired of getting to the JD's checkstation at 10 pm the night before so I may try Mud Bayou Sunday.
There is/was a public boat ramp under the Hwy 124 bridge on the south side of the intercoastal. Don't know if it was damaged by the storm or if it is open. Go over the bridge onto the High Island side, turn right about 200 yards past the base of the bridge, follow the road back to the ramp. Makes for easy access to that area.
Yea Ive hunted Mud Bayou off and on all season. In order to get a good spot out there you still have to get ou there early to get a good spot. But no it wasnt damaged.
The public boat ramp under the HWY-124 bridge on the intercoastal is open. I fished east bay twice during Thanksgiving week and launched from there.
