I have a Spin Cast Feeder and I've never had any problems with it, until now. The spin disk seems to be a little "sticky". It's so sticky that the motor will not spin it, even with a new battery. I've tried WD 40 to loosen it up, but it still will not work. The motor is probably 8 years old. I only use it Sept through Dec every year. It's been working fine since the first of Sept this year, but not now. Anyone with ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance
if a lubricant does not loosen it, check to see if the motor shaft is bent=***** can bend them. if not, new motor. several places sell the 6 volt motors-not just spin cast.
First are you shure that you are getting voltage to the motor ? I think you may have circuit problems. The only way to be sure about the motor is put 6 volts directly to the motor to see if it works. if not get a new motor. If it runs then yu have a circuit problem. I have had both bad motor and bad circuits.
