Bucks are starting to trail does in north Texas. They are as fat as I've ever seen them too. Had lots of others all different sizes. Only one pic had more that one buck in it and that was from about a week ago so they have just broke out of the bachelor groups and are hunting does. Good time to rattle.
Snort, that's 5 different bucks, just the 5 I posted, from the same feeder over a 9 day period. I have more than 1 pic of that daylight buck at almost the same time, 9am, every time. I think I am seeing a pattern there. Plus, who knows what can happen once they go sex crazy!
Nice bucks! That first buck (8 pt?) sure is heavy. He looks mature to me, and his tarsals are already dark. Looks like they are fuelin' up before the rut.
Good luck!

They are hitting the blocks real well in Archer co... I have been sweeping up my neighbors big fat acorns and putting them out. the deer were fighting over them.
Nice bucks you have there.... I hope you get the one you want.
