Is anyone familiar with the cor-bon DPX factory loaded bullets with the barnes TSX? How do they compare to the federal factory loads? This is for whitetail.
Thanks
I used the Corbon conventional bonded core in .45 Colt 260gr at 1,200 I think on about a six foot Black Bear. Nothing thumps the ground like a 400 lb. Bear coming out of a tree.
Haven't tried the X pistol ammo but in 45/70 they are a real deer and Hog slayers. I think that the X in 45 caliber is not really needed, but it definately raises the confidence factor. I use barnes TSX in all my rifles that shoot them anytime I am on a critical hunt.
I have been shootin Cor-Bon for years they are top of the line round with a top of the line bullet(Barnes TSX).
