Has anyone bought one of these yet? I'm itching to get one but would like to hear what kind of performance they have out of the box. Here is a link to one for sale if you are not familiar with it. http://www.auctionarms.com/search/displayitem.cfm?itemnum=8280863
Regarding the 22-250. I talked with Barnes bullets yesterday and they are coming out(in November) with a 45 gr TSX primarly for the 22-250. That should be awsome. I had them put me on the list for the first ones available. I use the 45 gr Barnes X in my 223. TSX should be even better.
I probably already have at least one of the ones you mentioned  This rifle should be worth the extra $$$ because it is very user adjustable and should be a tack driver right out of the box. I have rifles that cost much more and that cost much less... but I don't have one of these yet!

LOL! I guess "I don't have one yet" is a good reason! seems like for $800 before you even get a scope you could get a 700 and have some custom smithing done to it or something along those lines.

I was with a buddy today and we were talking about the new Icon, We cant wait to see someone buy one and put a BSA scope on it LOL. We get a kick out of the customers that want the 700-1100 gun and a 75 dollar scope LOL you should sit in a gun shop for a month. I would wait..... remeber the BABY GLOCK phase? guns cost more the first year Blake. I would wait till March or May ,,,maybe longer. Guns are priced heavy the first year on the "NEW" models.
Yes I know but I know you like saving LOL go for the beer gogles LOL. I hated the way the manufactor treats the consumer on new guns. I had to steal the first Ruger Stainless O/U to get a good deal. I had to threaten the sales rep with injury, then when we got a sample it went missing......oooops then we found it after a year, lol He was PI55ED. If you can let it ride wait, they will come down and don't go by MSRP we sold guns at gun shows at cost so good hunting my friend. Truth be known Dealers may pay as much as MSRP to get the first aligations on new guns.
