Heading back to Gonzales Co this wke to hopefully do some more hog thinning. Only had a few buck pics from last month. The sow front left is no longer w/ us, having taken a dirt nap. Jerry
Dang Jerry, you got hogs in a bad way... looks like a bunch of sausage and pork roasts running around your place. keep killin em... that young buck is going to be nice in a few more years....
You guys are too negative and pessimistic! That is not a hog problem, what you see is an excellent opportunity for lots of sausage and nice roaster piggies!!!!!
Call us crazy, but the hogs have actually been a welcome diversion for us. This is my bro-in-laws place north of Nixon near 80/97. He doesn't run cattle, so we're not sweating fence damage, etc and w/ the antler restrictions in place, we've been enjoying the cooler nights w/ hoglight setups, rather than going after the deer.
