Outlook Express Recovering emails

My outlook Express keeps adding a folder to the folder list with tons of recovered files that I keep removing to Trash and delete, but it keeps doing there covering and looks like lots of files are in my hard drive that is filling it up even with me deleting these recovered files in Express. Any ideas on how to stop the recovery of emails that I dont want to recover?
