What's wrong with my squash?

Newbie here. I am getting this weird "fungus" looking junk on my squash that is rotting it. What is it and how do I cure it? THanks in advance!!

Check your soil moisture, get some Serenade Garden Spray, and Blossom End Rot Spray and have fun.

Waste of time & money at this point in the season... temps at 95 degrees in not conducive to raising squash.

I raised squash all last year up until September and still produced like crazy all summer. I had three plants and had squash running out of my ears. Mine thrived all summer and reached over 100s last summer. However, I had summer squash if that makes a difference.
