Strange Fish ID

My buddy and I were fishing in Mitchell's Cut near Sargent and saw this little guy and had to get a pic. He looked like he was sporting some spikes on the edges of his fins too. He was released unharmed. Anyone know what type of fish this is?

I've got one in a coral reef tank. I feed it small pieces of shrimp. It's one weird fish, that's for sure.
