Moses Lake 4/29

We got out on the lake around 9:00. It was really windy and choppy. The water color was really dark/dirty. We tried deep hole and all around the gates. We worked live shrimp under a popping cork and switched to bottom soaking. It was way too windy to throw plastics. All in all, we ended up with 6 sringrays ranging from little ones to around 20", 3 eels (those slimy things still **** me off) and a handful of big Gafftop. The Gafftop and rays were fun to fight, but the eels kind of put a damper on things. It was cool being out on the water with friends, but the fishing was less than productive. Evidently everyone else had the same luck. A few boats would come and go, but there weren't any that stayed for very long.
