Help Hot Water Plumbing

So I have started to have a problem with the water pressure in my guest bathroom and have no idea what could be causing it. When I turn the shower on with cold water everything is fine, but when I change it to warmer water the pressure drops considerably. Does anybody have an idea of what could be causing this? I'd like to fix this myself and not have to call the plumbing company.

I appreciate any input that y'all can offer.

Agreed. Send a PM to agonzales1981. He has recently replaced two water heaters for me, and does good work.

Trash in the faucet ( under the seats ) could cause this.

My father just went through this same problem. There is a filter/screen on your hot water out that when it gets build up on it it causes pressure loss. Do not know the name of the part but it is down inside.

the hot water causes the rubber seal thing to deform and cause a restriction, change the valve internals out
