ok thank you but when all those little bearings come out is that holder tapered to hold them in place while you get each one back in the track ??I think that's how I got it back together.

You should be able to get them started with a simple push of your finger. Then you can slowly tap them in. A 12-13mm nut driver works to press them back in.

Here is the super sneaky tool Shimano Japan makes for the Calais A/R bearing. It works on other reels too. I think I have the last remaining one. They had a habit of disappearing over the years.

It really works well, but only on the A/R bearings in the low profile and round reels. Basically anything that uses the 1207 or 2396 size bearings. They have some cool bearing pullers too. The one for the BNT0194 was awesome. They were just fragile and would break after too many uses. Pulling rusted bearings took a toll on the puller. The larger sizes lasted forever. Here is one of the bearing pullers
