Idea Microsoft Security Essentials

You guys are over looking one the best anti virus, male-ware products on the market and it's free for personal use.
Microsoft Security Essentials
I have been using it since it first came out and it is the best I have seen so far.
I used McAfee for years and it never caught the viruses MSE does.
We use Symantec endpoint at work and it sucks.
I tried all the others and believe me MSE, bar far is the the only one I will use when I build pcs or have to clean up infected hard drives.
The only draw back is your OS has to be legal not hacked.

MSE is ok, better than nothing and good if you have no knowledge of computers. It's just a repackage of Microsoft's One Care Solution (just with out the features and the scans take hours)

I've seen, used, tested and removed infections on computers with just about every product out. I use Avast...it's simple, it's fast and most important, it works.

We could have had avast to use for free, and we shot it down and went with Symantec, I thought avast would be a better choice, but I was out voted.
once certain viruses set in theirs no cleaning them, and we don't have the time, so we just reimage.Viruses are going to get through especially where I work, people are always searching the net for programs for there Students to use and when a popup tells them it has found a virus on their pc do want to remove it,they click yes and that's all she wrote.
We try to tell them that Symantec runs in the back ground and does not ask to clean your pc,but they still click on it anyways.
As a systems engineer I am fully aware of how viruses attack, I have not had one virus get by me ever on my own pc, only because I know when it is happening and kill it before it has a chance to do any harm,I remember when it was safe to surf the web with very little protection, not now.
