interrupted videos

some videos that i try to watch will start and then the spinning thing comes on and i have to wait for the video to continue.
i am running firefox and adobe reader 9.
any clues?

i use and am pretty happy w/avast.

so i need to download adobe flash?
do i need to delete adobe reader, if so?

my guess is that you are having buffering issues - the video is playing faster than you can download it.

same thing happens at my office.

I let the video start (on YouTube for example) - and pause it. Let the grey bar advance - when it's nearly to the right of it's window, start playback.

no interruptions.

same problem, even after pausing it for a bit.

funny, i tried it one last time and it played perfectly.

i don't understand, but may download flashplayer instead of reader and go from there.
