Well if the NMFS thinks they have done a good job on shrimp, I'd call them flat out insane. Now we import shrimp from all over the globe and a bunch of it is treated with dangerous chemicals, not to mention the medicine used in aquaculture farmed shrimp. The NMFS is putting their own start-up shrimp farm companies in the US out of business. Now we're sending tons of money overseas for a product we used to get wild right out of the Gulf. All that at millions and millions of dollars in "dead boats" and busted lives because they went bankrupt on silly government rules. Great going! If that is success, I'll eat my hat.
