Green/Red Brake Collars

I ordered 2 new spools as a back up for my Chronarch 100SF,,,I also ordered some new brake collars to go with it. I ordered the red ones since that is what the reels have on them now but they sent the green ones. I saw on the parts diagram they are diffrent part #'s. Is there any actual diffrence?

Thanks,,,

Yes, the green brakes do not apply as much braking as the red brakes

I hate to correct y'all but the red/pink ones have less braking than the green ones. It's all about the diameter of the weight. Greater diameter = greater surface area = more braking.
