Lookin to do a little surf fishing tomorrow, has anyone been on surfside beach lately? What are the chances of hookin up with some bulls or big black drum ?
I went 2 saturdays ago and the saturday before that...nothing but large whiting...i even tried to soak whiting chunks...i waded all the way out to the 2 second sand bar to cast to the 3rd gut...nada...sorry but this is the most recent report for me...i hope someone else can give a much more recent report...
Been a few bull reds caught on the galveston side of SLP. Close to the channel. Might want to try for some pompano also. Just a double dropp leader with beads and shrimp or fish bites.
