Other than the price and the weight does the Cardiff cast just as far as the Calcutta? If so there seems to be a huge difference in price. I know the Calcutta is small and lighter. Is this like a Honda and an Accord or Toyota and Lexus? The spool of a Calcutta cost more than the entire Cardiff reel.
